D Blog Week/Post 5

I am stepping outside the box today, by putting up a vlog of myself. Once I got started I discovered I had so much to say I had to make two videos. SO glad to see that blogger is back up. Maybe we overloaded it. LOL

You did a great job on your Vlog! You had me in tears at the end though. I think we always have a bad hair day the day we really don't want to have one. Maybe next year I will be brave enough to do one.

You are such an eloquent speaker (just as in writing).

I wonder where the DOC would be without Scott...ha! But glad you found him and started blogging yourself.

Thank you for stepping out of your comfort zone and sharing this beautiful, eloquent, and touching vlog (even though you said you were having a bad hair day, but it looked cute to me). You moved me to tears from a place deep inside tha I usually don't have access to.
Your Minnesota accent is as charming as Cara's southern accent.

Thank you again for this vlog, and for all the honest, emotionally raw feeling you share. You are such an inspiring human being.
Thanks be to you.

Oh wow - I can't even begin to put into words. First, you were so brave to step out of that box - not something I can do yet. And it was so wonderful to put a voice and - that something extra you get beyond words on a page. Plus, love you too.

Kathy,
Eloquent, touching... full of emotion and love. You are trying an inspiration to all of us and I recall vividly when we first met online four years ago. Here's to MANY more years with the D!!!

Here's a link to the video and the lyrics:
* Gracias a la vida (by Mercedes Sosa) is one of my favorite songs of all time:

Hi, my name is Reyna. I found you through Karen's blog...with her VLOG. I am the mom of Joe. He is 7. He was diagnosed with type 1 over 4 1/2 years ago when he was 3. You are a courageous woman. I am so thankful for viewing this tonight. I am crying...out of gratitude for your graciousness...it is genuine. I appreciate that.

Love to you.

Thank you for making the video. I am so glad you survived, because you still have so much to offer in life. I know how hard dialysis is, and even so, it is a choice for life, and I admire you for enduring it and allowing it to keep you with us.
